Matt Gottlieb is an international actor based in Los Angeles. Born and raised in Israel, he specializes in doing different accents (see Reel & Clips) and playing off-beat, quirky characters such as techies or scientists. He doesn't get the girl, but he is one heck of a friend. Yikes.
Most recently, Matt has appeared in the pilot Gerald, Dean and Geraldeen (written and directed by Katlin Mastandrea of ABC's The Middle), a commercial for Snickers, voice-over roles on the Netflix shows Fauda (Series Reg) and When Heroes Fly (Recurring), and played the main antagonist in John Legend's official music video for the song Penthouse Floor.
On stage he's most notably performed Off-Broadway in the Drama Desk Award nominated The Ryan Case: 1873, and the west coast premiere of My Big Gay Italian Funeral, directed by 3 time Emmy Award winner Sonia Blangiardo.
Matt is also a proud member of Slauson R.C. Theater Company, founded and operated by Shia LaBeouf, where he gets to collaborate with the local community of Crenshaw neighborhood in south LA. He performs stand up around town and developed his comedy chops at Lesly Kahn, UCB and Second City.
When he's not performing, Matt is an avid basketball, Harry Potter and Chocolate Chip Cookie fan. He's also passionate about conquering his fears, which has led to some of his finest moments in skydiving, bungee jumping (twice!) and joining an online dating app.
A proud member of SAG-AFTRA. Repped by Media Artists Group and Church-Hugger Management.
